We created this design because we feel personally connected to it. Since October 7th, we, and most likely many others, have felt guilty when feeling happy because of the difficulties in Israel and antisemitism around the world. These occasions could be attending a Bar or Bat Mitzvah, concert, birthday party, and maybe just laughing with our friends. We used the term "we will dance again" to symbolize that when ALL the hostages are free, we WILL dance again - happily. The pictures of people dancing, praying, and raising Israeli flags show that nothing will stop us from continuing to be Jewish and from supporting and protecting Israel, our homeland. Hopefully, next year, we'll celebrate Yom Ha'atzmaut in Israel, dancing and singing like we should be. We created two pages in a history book. The first represents 2023, where we are saying, "We will dance again". The second page represents, B"H, 2024, where we can dance again in happiness because all the hostages are free. We created this design because we feel personally connected to it and to what is happening in Israel today. We may not live in Israel but Israel is our homeland. The value that Israel represents is peace. We were inspired by the things we see on the news every day and how this connects to us personally.
