In my work, I placed a large dove in the center to represent peace, as Israel brings me a sense of peace. I also included the year 1948, which marks the creation of the State of Israel, highlighting its historical importance. I used the colors blue and white throughout the poster because they are the colors of the Israeli flag. The flag appears at the top of the work, being held and raised by the dove, symbolizing pride and hope. Together, these elements express connection, identity, and personal meaning. My poster responds to the question, “What values does Israel represent today?” The dove symbolizes the pursuit of peace, which I see as an important value connected to Israel. The colors of the flag reinforce a sense of identity and unity. Highlighting the year 1948 shows the importance of history and the country’s founding as the basis for these values. Overall, the poster conveys that Israel represents peace, identity, and historical continuity. The message of my poster is that Israel represents peace and hope. It also expresses pride in its history and identity. I want to convey a positive and meaningful connection to the country. The sources from the National Library of Israel inspired me mainly through their use of national symbols and colors. They helped me understand the importance of the flag and Israel’s history. This influenced my choice of visual elements and the meaning behind my poster.
