I used Hatikva because it is really important in the Israeli nation. I also used cracks and plaster to symbolise Israel's healing. Israel shapes my Jewish story because I was born there, and it plays a big part in my life. I also have family there, so I think about Israel throughout my day. I'm conveying the message of healing because on October 7th, people believed that Israel was falling, but now we know that Israel and the Jewish community are getting stronger. I noticed how many sources had the Hatikva and the shape of Israel, so I changed them to fit my idea and my thoughts on it.
