This original piece uses many different mediums, such as colored pencils, markers, watercolor paint, and printed photos. This illustration ties together our wishes and dreams for the state of Israel. We wanted to convey our devotion and unwavering support to our homeland by drawing a map of Israel with the flag inside that says Am Yisrael Chai. On the border of the map we wrote out every word to the song Hurricane by Eden Golan, this song has helped to unite us Jews around the world and lift our spirits. And finally in the background of our poster we drew the Kotel with printed photos of Jewish people, Rabbis, and IDF soldiers praying at this holy site. Our artwork is a symbol of what Israel means to us Jews living in the diaspora, our home, safe space, passion, and hope for our future. We hope that this artwork can bring joy and hope to the Jewish community in and around Israel. We were inspired by the previous Yom Ha'atzmaut posters.
