I’ve chosen to use the outline of the country of Israel to show this is the home for Jewish people and incorporated two doves and olive branches to signify peace. As the ‘land of milk and honey’ I’ve drawn pictures of a bottle of milk and jar of honey. As a celebration of Israel’s 78th birthday I’ve added a celebratory banner. The country of Israel is a home for all Jewish people across the world, and it’s now 78 years old. Jewish people are kind to others, we celebrate peace (as shown by doves the Hebrew writing I’ve included and olive branches). We are proud of our Jewish heritage and celebrate with pride. The land of Israel is peaceful and free and should be celebrated. It’s a beautiful country and a proud home to Jewish people. This is what Israel means to me. I was inspired by my teacher Mrs Glickman and what Israel means to me.
